I’ve found the people I tend to have the most euphoric play with are fellow sock fetishists, either those who can really relate to the experience beneath, or who get off on pleasing others/are sensorily gifted. Sometimes I fear my fantasies have been so informed by the porn I consume (somewhat religiously since since I was 12) that it’s become more difficult to connect or feel truly satisfied/connected, but then a match comes along and I’m reminded I’m just fairly particular, that it takes some key components to send me spinning, that there’s people out there who we *are* just as much a fantasy to them as they are to us. Keeping the fantasy alive in relationships is tougher, as often it’s the novelty of the interaction, the lust + anticipation, that drives my attraction, but it all comes in waves. Blessed to have had my brain wired with this sexy sock-fueled superpower.
