NSNS - NOSOXNOSEX

sock survey confession

For me, the whole attraction to socks started in what you would call highschool in English, and happened organically. Back then I didn’t even really know (or was interested to know) about my sexuality, but occasionally I’d manage to snap the secret photo of my classmate’s socks – sometimes with, sometimes without sneaks. For no particular reason (as far as I can tell), I always preferred those of my friends that wore short (ankle) socks from well-known brands over crew socks.
When I started doing (fetish) Instagram, it originally wasn’t even my intention to share any of these or even my own – I just wanted to follow some guys that back in the days were my idols for their sock content. And while I’m grateful for some of the guys who agreed to meet me, the most important aspect of asocial media still remains to share content that enriches the community, has aesthetic value and that happens to be liked by others.
Don’t get me wrong, I really don’t care about the numbers of followers or likes – whenever I see an account with hot and carefully taken content, I’ll follow it no matter if it has 5 or 5000 followers. Sadly (or luckily, depending on your view), I could not make out a trend as in “the more follwers, the less friendly the guy behind the account” – even within the limited number of accounts in the sock fetish community, you can be lucky and connect with the occasional nice guy.
But in the end, it all boils down to whether you want to share and enjoy genuine and hot content. And luckily, these days there are many different options to get right to that good spot.

P.S. If you can, please lmk when or where you’d publish that text – thanks!
