The very first time I talked about with my non hook up friends was in middle school. Only two of my closest friends. They both were OK with it and it never escaleted. However, sometimes they did teased me with their socks or tell me if I wanted a sniff (which I sadly never got to do). They were curious and that did made me wonder if it’s an acquired taste.
On my online life I bonded with some friends over my fetish. I have an online best friend who met me through my (now dead) fetish account and we keep talking to this day.
