sock survey awakening

Since I started developing sexual feelings, sweatiness and sweaty smells have inspired very intimate feelings in me, and have helped me feel more emotionally and romantically close to other guys. My attractions started when I was on the track team in school and my first crushes were my male teammates, with my feelings peaking after our runs when we were glistening and emanating that fresh sweat scent. I also liked the basketball players and their high-top sneakers that were popular in the early 2010s. This also extended to the football (American) players and their cleats over the following school years. I went to a summer camp where I accidentally caught a whiff of my bunkmate’s Vibrams (very cheesy smell) airing out next to the bed, and it was one of the defining moments of realizing that I was actually gay – until that point I thought my attraction to other guys was biologically meant to inspire me to be a sexy man to attract girls. At my university I finally got to have some feet fun with other guys. I also started playing amateur ice hockey, which comes with the perk that hockey skates get incredibly sweaty and stinky, easily filling the whole locker room with smell. However, the trick for me is to be careful to control the moisture to curate the fermented smell that I like, and avoid the musty, grainy, fungal odor that comes from the gear staying wet TOO long, which I actually really dislike. Also, I have been fairly successfully making my own artificial foot odor juice using raw samples of the fermentation chemicals that cause it, sourced online: isovaleric acid which breaks down from the amino acid leucine and has a cheese smell, and propionic acid which breaks down from lactic acid and has a vinegar smell. But of course it’s not as good as the real thing.
